A Message from Mr. McKinney

My name is Lloyd McKinney and I am the principal of Guion Creek Middle School.  Guion Creek Middle School is a multicultural community that values the celebration of cultural differences, scholarship, honoring the humanity of its students, families, and staff members,and most importantly safety. Our values serve as the foundational pillars that uphold a culture of rigorous learning, creativity, and love. 
 
At Guion Creek Middle School our differences ignite our learning environment. Guion Creek Middle School is a multicultural and multilingual school community that embraces and recognizes cultural diversity as the core foundation of our school’s academic achievement. We are preparing our students to graduate from Pike High School by providing them a space that actively celebrates their cultural backgrounds while instilling the importance of honoring the institution of learning, and practicing safety. 
 
Guion Creek Middle School aims to prepare our students to become productive members of society that value embracing cultural differences, scholarship, and honoring the stakeholders responsible for their middle school experience.
